A Few of Many Fond Ukrainian Memories

(Picture-in a Ukrainian Hot Tub with friends Ruslan and Roman)

During my four years in Ukraine there were many serious moments, much work, but also many warm and happy moments.  In this post I would like to share a few of those warm, some funny moments that will remain with me for ever.

In the photo section of this site you will find many other photos, but these I believe, are special – that is not to say others weren’t as special – there are too many to share.  The introduction photo is one with a Ukrainian Scholar who took time to meet me late at night and share some stories presenting his book to me.

My sisters Grace and Doll came to visit for a couple of weeks and were able to visit many places with me and meet my friends and colleagues.  Here we were visiting Natalia Beley’s family and the children of some of their friends.

Leaving was a sad moment for me, but there were many good bye gatherings, where we celebrated my time in Ukraine and the many friendships we shared and continue to share. This one was at the office in Kiev.
